Guest guest Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Joy I love the sshhh & fingers crossed bit, I ,m a bit that way to ssssssshhhhhhh is a great way to convey what we can all decipher, we all speak the same language it seems. Aren't you lucky , new puter, flatscreen, camera the works, did santa come early, or did you have a windfall, any way good on you. hope you get lots of pleasure from it all, and I,m sure you will. Its so hot here and humid, I really hate it. Wheezy, puffing, clammy, wet , hair dripping all my colour out( sweat), lethargy getting the better of me, I really have to fight it. It aggrevates R/A, asthma, PAIN oh what a bbb whinger. I am going on that MYSTERY trip tomorrow, oh I am worried how I will handle the heat. Get my tool kit ready( all my bits, sprays , cane , puffer, water bottle) won,t have room to carry Xmas shopping home. lol. I hope the ladies all remember to bring their senses of humour with them. they'll need it, with me to lug around. I am absolutely bbbbdddd, after a full on day, we had 3 new people attend my group today, and they are in such a bad way, I made them lunch, and I could have cried at the gratefull looks on their faces, they just were so thrilled at having found somewhere they felt at ease and not judged. One hadn't eaten for 3 days ,one had been vomiting for 2 weeks with nerves( constant crying) and having a plate of food put in front of them was just overwhelming. The 3 youngest there today, 39, 36, 34, sat and ate and chatted away, as if they were family , it was just incredibly touching. They had a great day meeting the different people young and old. When one lady left, she was all choked up and couldn,t hold back a little weep, of happiness. And one older fellow, who had to leave at lunch time, called bak out to me, saying he didn,t want to go, just like a little child, oh it broke my heart. However, it was good to know, they will be back next week. I was worried that they mightn,t turn up Mon, as I have to be in Brisbane for Specialist, and wont, be here, for 2 days. But two young ones offered to be there for them. so it was a great relief to all. Xmas can be so hard for so many, for so many reasons too. Well all, hope to be here again over the next few days, will tell all about my mystery trip. I have promised to post a list of great homemade cleaning products too. Have a good few days, all, and keep on keeping well, and for those who can't quite do that, I,m thinking of you.
