Guest guest
Norma, If you look at your email when you have sent it your mail finishes at the end of what you have written! Look at Sandy's emails and after what she has written there follows what the person she is responding to has written! Your emails are fine you don't need to do anything, I have written to Sandy to explain how she can stop the other mail being tagged on the end of hers. Cheryl does not recieve her emails individually, she recieves on email with every mail for that day just one after the other, in one big mail. So she cannot hit delete at the end of one email, and then read the next one, she has to scroll down through all the headers and footers to get to the actual mail. Sometimes someone has just said "thinking of you" love .... But the whole of the email to the person she is thinking of is added on the end to get to the next email Cheryl wil have to scrol down until she finds the beginning of the next mail. But you are fine, your mails don't include the originals anyway! So please don't stop posting! Hugs Tina Hillier Mum to , 14 years old and possesor of an Extra Special Chromosome. Guest guest
Hi to those who do not quite understand how to cut and paste, in email,. The email you are replying to, The part already written, needs to be blued or blacked out, then right click to cut, then write whatever, and to paste again, right click and paste. It sounds hard but it isn,t, once you have done it once, you will find it easy, the hardest thing to do is remember, do do all this when you answer a letter by reply, cos you see the entire letter under your writing, if you are in the habit of just clicking reply it takes time to remember that you have to do all this other stuff before you write. I have already forgotten twice, since I was asked to do it this way, sorry all for being a pain, Sandy > > > > > > >--------------------------------- > ALL-NEW Yahoo! Guest guest
Tina, Thanks for clearing that up for me. It has been four and a half years since I quit working, and I did not cut and paste anything in emails--only in documents or letters. Hugs to you too, Norma
Guest guest
Hi everyone, I’m not trying to be a pain, honestly. And I don’t want any of you to feel awful about this. It’s the ones with an entire digest that I’m objecting to. That is, someone answers an email but leaves 25 emails trailing behind. That is just so damned annoying! Please don’t be upset by my request. This is part of normal Netiquette (which means Internet Etiquette). Believe it or not, I’m on groups that literally ban people for not complying with the Netiquette. Harsh I know, but some of these groups produce hundreds of emails each day, so they have to enforce the rule. Tina, thanks for your efforts to explain my request. I’ve been head down for days – I’m working on the final check of my novel, Saving Emma, which will be released in just 12 days!
