The tool's Program Maintenance feature of the Rehab Compliance Documentation and Billing Audit Tool allows significant flexibility in the utilization and customization of the selections and options within the program. Facility names, clinician names, treatment descriptions, CPT codes billed in your facility, and alteration or addition to the audit questions are some of the areas that are customizable. Additionally, all reports are automatically customized with your Company name in the report heading. This tool is network compatible and is accessible by multiple users at the same time. Audit data compacting capabilities exist to reduce the size of your of the data file used.

Audit Detail and Action Plans

Comprehensive audit detail is initially captured using a paper-based audit worksheet and is then entered into the tool in the Audit Worksheet section. The Audit Worksheet used for data entry purposes in the audit tool mimics the paper-based worksheet that is provided with the tool. Variances identified in the audit worksheet are flagged for review in the Action Plan section of the tool. The Action Plan allows complete documentation of proposed action towards an individual item, responsible parties, action item deadlines, documentation of the actual resolution and actual resolution date.
