Guest guest
>1- ICE is good as I found it would help take some of the edge off of the pain. HOWEVER, don't leave it on for more than ten minutes as it can then cause the arm to go numb from the cold and you have to decipher between the numbness. 10 min on 15 off is a good idea We always alternate ice and heat...10mins ice, 10 mins heat, then 15 mins ice 15 mins heat for as long as it takes. Using just ice seems to seize up the joint worse. Alternating heat stops that deep freeze setting in. Swelling takes a bit longer to reduce, but the ache is nowhere near so bad.
