Guest guest Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 The "process" of Sophia, ala "Creation" is feminine. But before the process is effected, what is it's latent potential state but "androgynous If u take the familiar symbol of yin/yang, The circle containing them is androgynous! Then u get the yin, cont a wee circle of yang [animus} n a yang w/wee circle of yin [anima]. Sometimes we concentrate on the duality presented, but the embracing circle is holding both. So bravo! back to ye! love ao Quote

Hi Alice, Very good analogy. I've tried to envision this 2-dimensional symbol in 3-D as well. What I come up with is similar to the topographical equivalent of a Klein bottle or mobius structure where there is no inner and outer boundaries, only the illusion of such. This gives the self the appearance of individuality, but there really is no actual disconnection between it and the rest of the world, no matter how hard one might try to force the issue. I'm thinking that this might even be a clue to my dual sphere concept I mentioned a while back. Cheers, Dail Quote
