Guest guest Posted April 17, 2006 Report Share Posted April 17, 2006 Hello All My husband hasn't been diagnosed with cancer but they still want him to go for a urinalysis. Also we are going thru the VA hospital so I don't know how much individual attention we will receive. (?) He had a blood test and we received no phone call. I assume that is positive. My question is; did any of the sufferers on this list have erection problems before cancer treatment? I would think this would be caused by the enlarged prostate. What I am reading is problems *after* treatment. But my husband has been having problems in that area for 7 years and getting progressively worse. I finally got him to go to the doctor and that is when he was diagnosed with the double enlarged prostate and a hard spot. He is 42. Now he's on Terazosin and has been very tired not to mention having dry eyes which I understand are some of the side effects.
