Guest guest
Norma I do that too! I also eat when I'm really tired and just can't move thinking falsely that it will give me energy... I just need to stop the eating =) Cindi -- Pain and eating Hi, I was wondering if anyone else except myself find themselves eating to find comfort from the pain? I'm having an awful time tonight. My stomach seems to be saying I'm hungry, but I've had a good supper so I shouldn't be. I'm worried about my test results for low albumin, which I think is why I'm eating. I eat when I'm anxious. Of course this leads to weight gain which causes more anxiety and more eating. A vicious circle. I don't seem to be able to get off the ride. Are you having a similar problem? Just wondering if I'm alone on this. Norma
Guest guest
It doesn't do that to everyone though. Since I've been taking pain meds for fibro I don't crave sweets at all!! And even when I do eat some, just a little bit is all I want and then I feel sick and can't eat eny more. > Don't forget everyone.... if you're taking Amitriptyline (Elavil) ... > this drug causes cravings for sugar and weight gain. Guest guest
I'm afraid to step on the scale right now. In the last week, I've eaten 4 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts! Nor just the plain glazed ones, but the really artery-clogging lemon-filled and the Boston Cream donuts. I've broken 2 jeans zippers!
