Jeff:

Thanks for this article. Yep...I am on a very restricted diet and have watched

MANY (if not ALL) of my symptoms go away for now. Perhaps I'm in a " remission "

at this point. Although my eating habits weren't THAT bad, I'd notice symptoms

when I ate certain things. I do stay away from everything listed in this

article.

What I did learn is that certain oils ARE good for you as they help the lymph

nodes get rid of the stored toxins as well as provide Omega VI for the brain.

Yes, especially the coconut oil. Other oils I take are: sunflower, safflower,

and sesame oil. Of course, I did get tested to see what I was allergic to.

Once I found out what I was allergic to, my diet made a HUGE difference in my

symptoms.

I tried following the Swank diet, but did not realize that my immune system was

so " stressed " that I had become sensitive to the fruits and had been feeding the

" parasites " that had now come into my body. I did perform a detox and am

practically 100% better. For those that do not believe diet ties in with MS,

they're wrong. That leaky gut syndrome is without a doubt a huge player in MS.

My suggestion to MS patients:

1. De-stress

2. Get tested for chemical exposure

3. Find out vitamin/mineral deficiencies and supplement them

4. Get tested for possible allergies

5. Find a diet " customized " on your personal profile

6. Exercise without wearing yourself out

7. Perform regular detoxes to keep your immune system as healthy as possible

8. Drink half of your body weight in ounces which helps to flush out toxins as

well as to hydrate your tissues.

The less your immune system has to deal with, the easier it will be for your

body to repair itself.

This is not important, but when a product contains

" natural flavor " in the ingredient list, does that

mean that it could be anything? I called a company

(that shall remain nameless) and asked about it in

one of their products. I basically got no information.
