Hi , I have wondered about this also but I think that a humid

climate is just more stressful on the whole body and maybe the water

in the air is displacing some of the oxygen????? I get awfully tired

and SOB when it is humid. Delivering moisture directly to the lungs

just seems to dilute the gunk and make it less sticky and easier to

get up. With the saline there is also the diuretic effect on the lungs

I mentioned before. Any other crackpot theories out there lol.?

Cheers. Carole.
