Kadi,

Pseudomonas is a bacterial infection that many of us with

bronch get. It’s tough

(impossible?) to get rid of and controlling it is important. Follow your doctor’s instructions

as to what to do if you think you are having a flare-up. I don’t think that they can really

tell whether or not it’s pseudomonas without doing a culture. If they haven’t had one done recently,

ask about having one. I thought

that I’d be done with bronch when I had my resection done, but oh well—the

bronch goes on.

Barb,

thanks for the definition. Can you tell me when you got your resection, how

extensive it was, and what's happened since?? Thank you, Kadi
