I couldn't be any happier with the results. > > hello all just thought i would let you know what is going on with my > son . Guest guest
Hello all just wanted to give you an update . when we got to the hospital friday the doctor at last minute cancelled surgery in order to get a new mri scan of the brain and c spine, they are thinking that his symptoms are related to a chiari malformation now instead of a tether, so we went today for a mri, and will find out tomorrow if on tuesday we are going in for an unthethering or a decompression of the chiari. thank you Jill for your post. I will let you all know how things are going and in what direction. Tammy Granville wrote: I hope all goes very well for and I hope you can find the strength you need to care for your family. Guest guest
How totally stressful! Despite the setback, it's a good thing they rethought the surgery until AFTER the correct diagnosis is made. I hope the MRI goes well and that you can have it all settled soon.
