Guest guest
R, do you tend toward motion sickness? I do and that is why I can't do the daily digests, cause they make me dizzy and sick to my stomach. I have always had motion sick problems since I was a kid (especially if I tried reading in the car) and they seem to translate to computers as well. Whenever the stuff on the screen moves too fast or there is too much scrolling while trying to concentrate on the screen, it makes me sick. My dad as well and he has the same motion sick problems that I have..... Just curious..... Guest guest
TERRIBLE motion sickness. It got so bad for a while I couldn't ride in a car unless I was driving. I had frequent trips to OT 2 hours away from our home when I was a kid and was so sick every time, even though I tried to sleep through it. I can under no circumstances ride anywhere but in the front of the car and I cannot turn around at all. I also have vertigo from screens scrolling, turning fast, bending over fast, standing up fast, bending over too long, elevators, etc.. Guest guest
Oh Cripes, don't even tell me that the reason I couldn't eat dinner in the revolving resterant in Niagra Falls has something to do with this stupid disease. I have always gotten sick when in the back seat of cars. DEbi Y. Ritter wrote: TERRIBLE motion sickness. It got so bad for a while I couldn't ride in a car unless I was driving. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jade10_49622/album?.dir=/My+Photo+Album & .src=ph & store= & prodid= & .done=http%3a//f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/jade10_49622/my_photos Glimpse into my vida loca!!!!!!!__________________________________________________
Guest guest
Have either of you had an MRI? I also had the dizziness etc for years with all the pain. I had and you may have the rare brain malformation called Chiari. It blocks your spinal fluid and leads to many balance problems because the cerebellum gets all smooshed up. Not to scare you, and who knows you may not have Chiari. But it is worth looking into. I may still be in pain everyday but I don't get dizzy, I don't fall down and I can even read in the car now! Course I had to have brain surgery to correct it... but still. I am very happy that at least some of my symptoms reversed. I have long held the belief that un-dx'ed Chiari can lead to Fibro... a wacky doc in the south even does Chiari decompressions on fibro patients to try to cure their pain. Course I have been blocked since birth they thought so my pain was not reversible. And ha, I eat in that revolving restaurant just last week!
