Just as a cautionary note............ " Could " is the Key Word here. Children

have had the Surgery and things haven't gone so well, just like Adults have

had this Surgery and things have gone quite well.

From the way I see it..........just because you were Diagnosed sooner,

doesn't necessarily mean that you would have had Surgery sooner. If you are

50 now, and were diagnosed 30 Years ago with this, which would probably be

unlikely, the chances of you having the Surgery back then would have been

more unlikely. Even today, if you are Diagnosed with it, doesn't mean you

are going to have Surgery for it, atleast in the near Future. Also, not

everybody develops Symptoms for this, nor, if they do develop Symptoms, do

they get them at the same time...............so you may not exactly have 50

Years of Nerve Damage..............maybe some of it is, if you were born

with known Symptoms, but maybe the other parts of it are only 20, 10 or 5

Years old.

Ok, maybe I'm just in an analyzing mood, please forgive me. I hope this

makes sense.
