I have no experience with Neurontin for anxiety but have been taking

it for a number of years for peripheral neuropathy.

I've had peripheral neuropathy for a long time and neurologists couldn't

figure out why......my pain doctor figured it was due to the severe spasms in

my

neck and upper back muscles which were originally precipitated by my

bilateral tmj. But the neuropathy is not only in my hands but in my feet. I was

started on topomax almost two years ago (I take 400 mg/day) and it helps a

great

deal... it is also for the horrific headaches I get from the spasms and tmj

as well as the neuropathy and it's a Godsend.

Pardon my ignorance please, as I am new to this... but could the neuropathy

be due to the RA I've recently been diagnosed with?

Thanks,

Abby
