Guest guest
I lean a bit more towards Dr. Bernstine myself and so wrote Harry off list as I did not want to start a war on this beautiful list. Actually Harry, I had meant to send my message to both you and though not to the whole list. May I forward this on to ? I haven't read Dr. Bernstein's book yet, but from what few chapters of his book I have read on line, it seems that Dr. Bernstein runs a much tighter ship than Dr. Mirkin. This is probably due to the fact that Dr. Bernstein is a type 1 diabetic and knows from personal experience the plight, trials and tribulations of the diabetic, whereas Dr. Mirkin is just a very knowledgeable practicing physician, who is into fitness and enjoying life to the fullest. I like both doctors since they talk similar strategy and methods for treating a diabetic, and I might add that I have found both of them to be far superior in dispensing helpful information than my local treating physicians. If some one on this list serve has done a scan of Dr. Bernstein's book Diabetes Solution, I would appreciate it very much if you would send me a digital copy of the e-text of this book. Guest guest
Hi Rita, I haven't read any of the books yet, I just read a couple of chapters of Bernstein on line, but I have listened to a few of the Merkin's shows on line also. I think that Bernstein is a little more strict, but I think that he really knows what he's talking about. By the way, I don't think that you would start a war, but you might start a very useful discussion with a statement like that. Don't be afraid, you're with family here! Cheers Re: That's all folks! > > > > > > > Thank you Harry for all your time and effort in putting together this > > > info. Guest guest
Excellent point . This is a group of friendly and very supportive people. Some lists are not like that. Family is a nice concept too.
