Dear ,

Since I can not risk a fall with my osterprosis, do you think that jumping on a small trampolene will give me the same benefit of the ball? I have a small condo and it would fit in comfortably. I choose to keep out of public gyms as I have an aspergillus infection and the gyms are full of bacteria and mold. Thanks,

This can be helpful,as a form of lung clearance. It works best aftertaking an aerosol or inhalers. If inhalers alone givethem 15 minutes or so to work. Please be mindful thatsome balls are not burst resistant. They can break. Afall could be painful, so do be careful. Even whenusing a burst resistant ball be mindful of safety.Keep the area around your bouncing clutter free. It’spossible to fall off the ball or slip, so do becareful and perhaps have some cushioning around theball area. These balls are unlike those made for youngchildren, do not have anything to grip. It might bewise to become accustomed to simply sitting on theball for a week or so before trying to bounce on it.Do not bounce too high!Bouncing by far enabled me to bring up more mucousthan tradition CPT, flutter, autogenic drainage, etc.At the time I did not have an Acapella, so cannotcompare, but I think the ball would have likely won!Bouncing is also fun. Made me feel like a child again!Happy Bouncing:0) Liz__________________________________________________Do You Yahoo!?Tired of spam? Yahoo! , thanks for the info on the bouncing ball. I belong to a gym and they have the balls there, but I never tried them. Do you mean that all you do is sit on it and bounce in that position? I see the other people doing such crazy things with them, I didn't dare want to try them. But I'm sure I can handle sitting on them and bouncing if that's what you mean. Thanks.

Dear Eileen,

Yes, I think a mini trampoline would be helpful. It

would be good to try it, as well as chest clearance

activity itself is beneficial to our lungs.

Dear ,

Yes, I do mean sitting and bouncing on the yoga ball.

Sounds goofy, but was helpful for my lungs. I hope

bouncing can help you too.
