Guest guest
Lee , I joined the group for R/a when I was put on Celebrex and Arava, for pain. The crowd who bring out Arave, have a support group, on telephoe, and mail. When you join free, its great you get assigned a nurse, who rings you monthly to check on you and asks ????? and answers any. I have been in the group for about 4 yrs or maybe 5. They take all info, all meds etc, and they keep you well supported. They never miss a follow up etc. I was having al these pains in eyes, and so bad, the Rhumatologist said it definately was part of the form of R/A I had. So then I asked the nurse, when she rang and she confirmed that it happened in the eyes just before it starts to attack other areas like kidneys liver and lung. Mine happened other way round. Eyes were about the last place to go, well so far. Nothing but keeping eyes shaded when really painful, pain tabs, and drops when they feel dry. A lot of my pain is from inside, all feels like they are loched and stuck together, , heat and gentle massage or rolling back and forth very gently eases it off then feels like softening, then pain eases up a bit, but then moves to the muscles and joints etc, burning al the time.
