Guest guest
, have his dr check him for raynauld's phenomena. several of us also suffer from that. at this time i do not have any pain from it but was told by the rhumatologist that it can become quite painful. i just have the numbness, tingling and purple nailbeds from it. especially just after i have been dealing with cold water....like the laundry or watering my plants, etc.... the best advice they give on this is to keep your hands andfeet dry and warm at all times. wear socks all the time and gloves when your hands are cold.... hopefully this is helpful. jaime PF - > > Hello everyone, > Has anyone had problems with cramping hands with this disease? Guest guest
Dianna, His potassium levels may have dropped due to some of the meds. he is taking. Is he on prednisone? This could be the cause of his cramping. Banannas are high in potassium. But if he is having trouble keeping his sugar level undercontol a bananna will not be a good choice for him. Guest guest
Laurie, My hands cramp as well as my feet and legs. Doc says it is circulation. But...while I was taking Lasix, I also had to take prescription potassium. That stopped it. Don't get the supplement, get prescription. I now take Quinine to stop cramping in the night. It just drives me nuts!! Hope today at work goes well! Be sure to thank your boss for her caring concern for your husband and yourself! Not!
