Forexample: Before meal g (glucose reading) c (number of carb grams consumed H (Humalog units dosed) two hour post g reading It appears from what I can make out you are on the right track. How many units of Lantus are you dosing at night? Since your reported glucose level three hours post meal rose to 171, you will need to increase your dose of Lantus at night by one or two more units for now. Did you dose Lantus last night?
