Guest guest
We had an Alert here on the news. Is it safe to just stop taking it all at once? Or is it an as needed thing? I know here they said many Docs were using it for Arthritis. Said the first 18 months it worked good but after 18 months it started causing heart problems and such. That was just our news report on our local TV. Said it was being re-called that if you were taking it to take it back to your pharmacy for a re-fund. You may be able to sue the pharmacutical Co. I am sure there will be a suit. So if there is you should get on the list so when they do settle it you will at least get your part. Lord knows we can use every penny we have coming to us! Guest guest
The thing I saw was that it is being totally recalled. But I also wondered about these same questions. That was why I suggested anyone taking it call their doctor to see what they need to do. --- Piercey wrote: > We had an Alert here on the news. Is it safe to just > stop taking it all at once? Guest guest
Our news here (Nashville) said that the product was being recalled from pharmacies and doctors could no longer prescribe it at all, for any reason. They also strongly suggested that people throw away any of their remaining pills. Considering how much that stuff costs (my insurance wouldn't cover it the one time my neuro prescribed it for me, and it came to over $400 for a month's supply) and the fact that some people really depend on it for pain relief, it's really sad. cyn At 12:32 AM 10/1/2004 -0500, Piercey wrote: We had an Alert here on the news. Guest guest
Maybe the drug company that makes it should consider taking returns on unused pills and give refunds! http://www.elizabethblue.com http://www.midatlantichorror.org http://www.geocities.com/horrorwritersworkshop -----Original Message-----From: Merritt Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 8:07 PMTo: Fibromyalgia_Support_Group Subject: Re: ~Errika & All~ An article about VioxxOur news here (Nashville) said that the product was being recalled from pharmacies and doctors could no longer prescribe it at all, for any reason.
