Guest guest
I have had random pains as well. I have had PA for 15 years now. I first noticed my rings wouldn't fit and just thought I had gained weight. Then I started having pains in my shins. Now I look back and can remember all the pain I had as a kid. I used to have terrible shin pain and everyone would just tell me it was growing pains. Now I am not so sure. I have also had random pains in about every part of my body. Nothing that lasts too long. Just a quick shooting pain. But if you have pains in one area that last I would mention it to the doctor. > I'm still waiting for the PA diagnosis but I was diagnosed with P today > at my dermatologist. Ditto that -- I remember having pain in my shoulder, elbows, wrists, hands, chest, knees, and ankles -- all of tendon-related, and all it attributed to either growing pains or activity like softball, skating, stumbling, etc. All these many years later, I understand how the tendons are involved in PA and that I wasn't accident-prone -- I HAD PA! Now I just reat my " random tendonitis " with NSAIDS, ice or heat, and compression, and wait it out. And frankly, it's been MUCH better since I started the methotrexate and remicade. - ===================================================== Stein http://www.noblefusion.com/astein http://www.livejournal.com/users/astein142/ http://darkart42.deviantart.com/ ----------------------------------------------------- " Do or do not. I wonder if this could also be a PA symptom. Perhaps they are not related but I have these kind of things daily so I was just wondering. Any Help is appreciated, thanks, Hi Denice, Yes, I tend to have these pains occasionally. I don't know if it will be related though. I wouldn't be surprised if it was. Take care,
Guest guest
I too get sudden sharp pains in odd places--a toe, a finger, a wrist. I never associated it with PA, but now that you have said it, I wonder . . . The pains don't last long, but they do hurt. Especially the ones in the toes.
