I've never heard of this Elite monitor. The only two that I was aware of is

Accucheck and the One Touch. Are there others besides these and how does

the Elite work any differently?

I ws wondering about the thread with regard to the meal replacement shakes.

Are we talking about Glucerona?

Thanks.

Hi, The Glocometer is a bs meter that a partial can use much easier than

one that you drop blood on.

The glucometer has a strip that goes in the end of the meter. You slide the

strip in a slot. The strip sticks out about a inch and a half. When you

get a puddle of blood, you stick the strip into the puddle of blood. It

sucks, or saturates the strip up in the end of the part sticking out and it

registers thirty seconds later. You have to be able to see enough to see

the digital readout. It is easier than using the kind that you drop the

blood. It probably would not work for a total. It works for me though.
