Hi

Welcom to the group! Boy, when I was reading your introduction, it

really, really sounded like I was reading my own introduction. I have

been through, and am going through everything you have been through

and are going through!! Even down to the outstanding helpfulness of my

better half!!

Mine was an injury that happened at work. I was a Nursing Assistant

and picked up one of the patients, and she let her body weight go. It

pulled the disc out and slipped a vertabrea out of alignment. It

developed into spinal stenosis, sciatica, Degenerative Disc Disease,

and also Radiculapothy.

It is a horrible was to live, but I am very thankful that my doctor

has found a good dose of Oxycontin, and I have been on Lyrica,

Flexeril, and Lexapro. So the combination of all of it hss been

working out really well. By all means, I am NOT pain free, and I don't

think I will ever be, but it is tollerable.

I still can not work and I still lay down a lot, but with some help, I

can do little things now. I really hate being this way, but having

this group here and being able to help others with my knowledge, and

learning from their's has been wonderful.

I really think you are going to fit right in here with us, just be

patient, it takes some members a bit longer to reply than others. We

all enjoy each other's company here, just jump right in and put your

two cents in!!
