thank you for that information glenn. i had similar thoughts while reading the

parlour and appreciate knowing more about the 'cancer'. and i loved remembering

katie saying previously that everything deserves it's life, even what we call

cancer. it's interesting for me to see her open to everything, cancer and

cancer treatments, it's all just a part of the journey.

cheers.

is

stopping the Parlor because the radiation will be to difficult, the cancer

serious, etc.

I am a nurse and as I thought about it, I realized those assumptions are not

necc true. Of

the skin cancers basal cell are the easiest to treat. I just confirmed some of

this with a

google search:

basal cell cancer, sometimes called non-melanoma skin cancer, usually appears as

a

small, fleshy bump or nodule on the head, neck, or hands. Occasionally, these

nodules

appear on the trunk of the body, usually as flat growths. Basal cell carcinoma

accounts for

more than 80 percent to 90 percent of all skin cancers in the United States. It

is often

easily detected and has an excellent record for successful treatment.

About the stages (She said phase but I believe she meant stage)

Identify the numbering system used in conjunction with the TNM system, which

uses a

scale from 0-4 to rate the spread of the cancer. '0' means the disease is

confined to the

top layer of your skin. '1' means the disease is less than two cm across and has

not spread.

'2' means the disease is more than two cm across and has not spread. '3' means

the cancer

has spread to the lymph nodes and '4' means the cancer has spread to other parts

of the

body.

My thoughts had gotten away from me but not for long! God is good, God is

everything-

even this cancer.

Thanks,

Glenn

Hi Glenn,

My thoughts had gotten away from me but not for long! God is good,

*****No. Way off, dude.

At most, God is.

And even that is open to question.

Definitely forget the " good " qualification.

It just muddies the waters which are already stirred up. ;-))

God is everything-even this cancer.

*****Yes. Most assuredly.

God is all there is, all there is, is God.

So if fear arises, or hate, or jealousy, or anger, or rage...come to

see that you aren't doing any of it: it is God's dance.

And ditto for laughter, love, joy,......even compassion.

The moment you think " you're " being compassionate, you are lost.

Look, about the cancer thing. I've had it twice (Non-Hodgkin's

Lymphoma). Pretty bad shit in terms of treatments (my actual cancer

had no physical symptoms...it didn't affect my functioning at all...it

was the treatments that burned down the house).

As to how cancer treatments may affect BK,.......I was posting on this

list during the four months of the first treatment (2003 Spring) and

through part of the second treatment (2004 Spring.....before the

system crashed ~ expectedly ~ due to the results of a stem-cell

transplant I underwent following a week of high-dose chemotherapy and

radiation...heavy shit, that!).

How the organism responds to the treatments is very much an individual

thing. may handle it just fine, mabye feeling a little " off. "

She may be dead shortly. Who knows? She certainly doesn't!

The energy field that is Byron CLEARLY has the " tools " (or the

perspective) to weather this as well as any bodymind mechanism. I

wish her well, as I do all who are dealing with physical and/or

psychological challenges. As the lovely Irish blessing goes,

" " May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your

fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his

hand. "

(Of course, God is ALWAYS holding you, and you, God.)
