I had a family, and a good job, and it was too hard to juggle everything with a full-time job. After 5 years out, I went back part-time. I took it slow and steady, and graduated when I was 31. My last child was born during finals in my senior year. It was tough, but worth it. Mechanical Engineering is a challenging field to study! You mentioned teaching, I teach a class for an hour once a week. Though I've had UC through all this, I generally don't have problems while I'm teaching. When I'm distracted, my UC stays under control. If you choose to follow your dream, I'd recommend that you keep it slow and steady also. No need to press yourself and no need to hurry. Enjoy life, and remember to enjoy your daughter. She's the most important thing you've got. Always leave room to breath.
