Guest guest Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Hi Penny, Welcome, welcome. I'm Kath - 45, married 27 years, three sons all young adults, and grandma to the most gorgeous 4 month old grandson you've ever seen!!! I am at home - I'm a freelance writer, a babysitter to my grandson, and general cook and gopher of the place. I have severe pain in both feet. I was born with congenital hip dysplasia and clubfeet on both sides and I learned to walk at age three. I actually did miraculously well during childhood/teens. The docs told my parents that I would never walk - so I overcame that stumbling block with God's help. Anyway, I've had two hip replacements and my hip is doing super. It's my poor feet that are not doing well. They are slowly and very painfully crippling and there's nothing that can be done. They look like the feet of a 95 year old woman on xrays. Doctors can't understand why I'm walking - they say I shouldn't be. I take meds - of course. And, I do use the patch you speak of. I'd be happy to talk to you about this. Just email me if you like. Really glad to have you. You'll like it here a lot. A lot of sweeties on this list. Hugs, Kath Quote
