I am so sadden to hear this. He was my mentor for my integrative medicine training. Such a caring and nurturing person. He would call me and ask how things were going. He taught me a lot. He leaves an immeasurable legacy for all those whose lives were influenced by him. Lee was a very special person.

You may have read his book, Finding Balance in a Medical Life.

Some of us were lucky enough to learn from him at the Integrative Holistic Medicine courses.

He gave a plenary at the AAFP 2010 Scientific Assembly.

Lee Lipsenthal, the passing of another leader...

I just saw this on the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine website:

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lee Lipsenthal, MD, ABIHM.  Lee was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in 2009; it returned several months ago.  He was surrounded by family when he crossed over on Monday, September 19, 2011
