I made it to age 50+ not realizing that the world is turned upside down. I'm still reeling at the concept and trying to get my head around it. I'm also trying to keep from panic at the realization that the majority of NTs give only lip service to the notion of respecting differences. All 3 1/2 of my children are of quirky brain. My son in law had an official diagnosis of ADHD, my daughter, son, and future daughter in law haven't needed one. (My son is 18 and the future daughter in law is 17) Anyway, glad to be here. Hope you don't mind my sitting back in the corner listening to the conversations and smiling at you all (and probably blurting something off and on.)
