Guest guest
, It is good to hear that you are getting over your sinus/ear infection. I hope that you have a wonderful, pain-free trip. gentle hugs, Sundra -- going camping be back tuesday! dear friends, i actually think this 3rd round of antibiotics is finally killing this infection i'm having in my ear/sinuses. i have been feeling crappy (more than usual) for about a month. tomorrow (sunday) we leave for peavine (it's just over the california border, behind bordertown) and won't be back till tuesday. it should be fun as i usually don't have to do much but sit back and relax. this time our daughter is going w/us. so it will be interesting to see how she enjoys it. we are also gonna make sure the air mattress works this time. lol! (or i'll come home asap!). hope everybody has a wonderful fathers day and a pain free week! nancy in reno! 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
Have fun camping. Relaxation always helps with pain. I just love camping. Hubby and I did end up buying a travel trailer as my back pain since my accident with the truck doesn't allow me the fun I used to have tenting it. We'll probably pay off the trailer in about 10 years, but it sure is comfortable. Hope you have a great weekend. You're probably gone by the time this posts, so I'll also say... Hope you had a great time :-) Hugs, Norah going camping be back tuesday! dear friends, i actually think this 3rd round of antibiotics is finally killing this infection i'm having in my ear/sinuses. i have been feeling crappy (more than usual) for about a month. tomorrow (sunday) we leave for peavine (it's just over the california border, behind bordertown) and won't be back till tuesday. it should be fun as i usually don't have to do much but sit back and relax. this time our daughter is going w/us. so it will be interesting to see how she enjoys it. we are also gonna make sure the air mattress works this time. lol! Guest guest
dear sundra, what can i say, but that the trip was fun. but i have had enuff camping for this year alone. the augmentin gave me massive diarhea. all i can say is thank the goddess for rocks. b/c there was no bathroom facilities at all and i can't get up from a squatting position, let alone stay in a squatting position for more than a few seconds w/o leaning on a rock. not to mention having to bury it after. lol! i felt like a lame dog. we had an inflatable air mattress in the tent, so that it was like sleeping on a cloud. but when it came time to get out of the tent i always needed my husband to pull me out w/both hands b/c i could barely get up in the mornings being so stiff. lloyd and our daughter did everything so i just basically sat around feeling drained from the meds. we had a lovely time and will probably do it again next year. but boy did i want to get home and take a hot bath or shower. you know i was the first one in when we got home. lol! we went to peavine mountain in the toiyabe forest, just over the border of calif/nevada. it's about 35mins from home, but totally out of cell phone range b/c of the mountains around it. so we were virtually cut off from everybody. it was still fun tho. thanx hope you had a good weekend too, nancy in reno ps. next couple day vacation will be in a hotel w/room service. lol! > , > It is good to hear that you are getting over your sinus/ear infection. Guest guest
lets just say my antibiotics gave me a run for my money (the runs to be exact and no toilet faciilities, except a rock or two). but otherwise we had a good time. we do want to eventually buy a nice trailer. then i could do tent that (the kind that fold out from the trailer). but right now we just can't afford it. we had an air inflated mattress that he hand pumped and it was soft as a cloud. so we slept good. just had to have him drag me up when i got up b/c i was too stiff to get up the normal way. poor guy. he did all the work. but we had a lot of fun! thanx, nancy in reno > Have fun camping.
