LeAnn, you sound like such a warm and nurturing person. I am a piano teacher

and I teach with those same qualities in mind. I never want a kid to leave my

house feeling bad about him/herself. Life is hard enough. I think it is very

very hard to adjust to chronic illness. I have been trying for 10 years and

still have bad times....but I've come a long way!!! Hugs, 'Cam

Re: New to Group! Hello everyone!

Hi a, Dillion, and !

Thanks for all your welcomes! YOu are all so kind! For those of you

who are nurses, tell me where you work and how you deal with day to

day struggles. I know it has been a blow to decrease my nursing care

duties. I work in home health but can only do private duty due to

health issues. I consider my role as a nurse very important to me..I

love the caregiving aspect. My illnesses have been a blessing in

disguise for they teach me more about my patient's needs..mentally,

emotionally, and physically. I really enjoy what I do which makes it

hard to cut back on hours and duties. I can't take the stress of alot

of nursing jobs now. Heck..its hard on a healthy person!

Well, hugs to all of you and thanks..looking forward to getting to

know you all better,

LeAnn

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as

to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr.

Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to

certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't

be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that

situation better.

Have a nice day everyone.
