Guest guest
Hey, Sorry I've been quiet. I had a spinal cord stim put in (temp.) For the first time in about six years, I was able to stand quite straight (didn't even realize I wasn't.) The pain was taken care amazingly and I was able to cut my drug usage in more than half (could have done more, but didn't want to go through withdrawals.) I wasn't able to clean the house or anything like that though while using the temp stim. However, I'm fairly certain it will do the trick for me. I'm planning on having it implanted after my daughter's wedding in June. (Wish I could do it sooner, but I have some Chiari stuff to take care of first.) I hope everyone is doing all right and hanging in there. If anyone has any unresolved list issues, please let me know. And Rick...I forgot...sorry, will get it to you this week. Guest guest
Wonderful to hear some good news!!! What exactly is a temp stim? Where was your spinal cord tethered? Do you have a web page where I could read about your situation, and if not could you just give me a brief rundown? I'm pretty new to the listserve and don't know histories.
