Guest guest
I just wanted to say hello to the group. My wife has been suffering from fibromyalgia for several years now and hasn't gotten very much help or understanding from the medical community. People in general tend to think the disease doesn't exist at all or discount it as insignificant. Anyhow, I'm here to try and get more insight into dealing with fibromyalgia. the Sandman www.painforums.com

Guest guest
Paige, rainy weather does make fibro more painful. Hope the pain doc can help you! Love, Cam checking in Hi guys, I havent checked in for a while so I thought i'd write a little bit. I'ts been raining like crazy here and I'm hurting a little worse than usual. I find that my neck , shoulders, hands, hips, and feet, and honestly most everything else in between just wont stop aching. I can't even think clear . I walk like I'm 90! I've finally found a pain specialist to go see. Hopefully he'll be more help than the doctors I'm seeing now. Maybe I'll get some kind of relief. Guess i'll go lay down a while. before the Hubby gets home. I'll check in later. Wishing the best for all of you. Paige in east Tennessee 1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general. 2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better. Have a nice day everyone.
