Guest guest Posted June 30, 2004 Report Share Posted June 30, 2004 Hi I was wondering if any of the pro's on here have any idea why my rheumy would be testing for lymphosites after I told him about my battling thrush for over a year and occasional canker sores. He's of very few words (I'll be changing docs very soon)but the phlemotomist said it has something to do with TCells and I wonder what he could be testing or thinking of. He said it was quite important I mentioned it today. I'm seronegative polyarthapy or something like that. He said it was the same as seronegative rheumatism. Guest guest Posted July 1, 2004 Report Share Posted July 1, 2004 Sandi, Don't worry. Lymphocytes are white blood cells that are part of the immune system; they help fight infection and disease. Since your body can't seem to get the thrush under control (and maybe for other reasons, too), your physician is probably checking the lymphocyte count to make sure it isn't too low. What medications are you taking? I'll tell you where to go!
