Guest guest
Whats InLv? Is it something to do wth autuniv-l? I,ironically,to say the least, got kicked off that list for asking for discussion on what constitutes " offense " , " personal " attack ,indeed, attack, itself ,and for suggesting we are each accountable for thinking about what the origin of our taking " offense " is,or about where our " feelings " originate, and whether we are reacting to external or internal stuff, and hence accusing others of attacks, which in fact, are wholly reflections of unresolved stuff in us. This lack of definition between a feeling and fact of " attack " ,or offense, can result in false, unjust accusations, not to mention emotional blackmail ,with people crying " boo hoo, attack " ,at the drop off a hat, because they *feel* attacked personally, even when all thats happened is the absolutely non personal expression of a cognitive reality that is dissonant with theirs. They *feel* personally attacked by something that intrudes on their reality. anna from ozz alfamanda wrote: > I asked if we knew each other and can't " read " your lack of > response..... You probably unknowingly touched a sore spot with someone, maybe the listowner, who could have benefitted by thinking about what you were trying to say. I think you're right, when we feel insulted or offended, we should at least consider whether we're reacting to some unresolved issue that has been triggered by something someone else said, or to what they actually said. Probably everyone does it to some extent, NTs and ACs alike, but perhaps ACs have more unresolved issues? (Because of not talking things out when they happen.) Anyway, it's a worthy topic of discussion. I think that Clare Sainsbury is the listowner of autuniv-l, while Martijn Dekker is the listowner of InLv. I also somehow connected the two, although I don't know why. Possibly many of the same people are on them, although I haven't been on autuniv-l in a long time.
