Yes, Tethered Cord can cause upper body Symptoms, but it is more rare............more likely if you have a higher Tether, or you are very tightly Tethered. There are other Conditions that can also be seen in a person with Tethered Cord that are more likely to cause upper body Symptoms. But it seems that you have become quite aware of that. How did your Decompression go? Did you end up having the Detethering? I find your next Comment very interesting............do you have anymore information about that? I have Chiari II, but haven't been Decompressed. I have had 2 Detetherings though, that haven't gone soo well. Me Nebraska, USA mymocha@...
