Guest guest Posted May 28, 2004 Report Share Posted May 28, 2004 Jana, Tramadol is the generic for Ultram. It is fairly inexpensive and sure helps me. I was on Celebrex and it no longer worked so I asked my doctor about Ultram and he prescribed Tramadol. I take 4 (50 mg) tablets daily-about 4-5 hours apart. The side effects are minimal with me.
