Guest guest Posted September 20, 2004 Report Share Posted September 20, 2004 , I'm on a similar med combination to youL 1800mgs neurontin (and I don't generally feel like a zombie...except today that is!) 25mgs Amitriptyline (similar to nortriptyline) up to 240 mgs dihydrocodeine for breakthrough (never take less than 90mgs) 200mgs Celebrex. Mustn't forget the Lanzoprazole to stop any ulcer that decides to appear!!! I tried to swap the dihydros with Tramadol (Ultram) but I ended up with a terrific headache for two days and terible nausea. I see you're taking more nortriptyline and less neuronton than me. Was this a trial and error process to see what doses helped best? Generally, this combo works for me although flare ups have minds of their own don't they?
