But, I did meet with a rep from the company who had also mentioned a $150 fee. The standard price is $600, but this was supposedly a special rate since I was an individual in business. I also decided not to invest in it. I've also worked 'major " corporate and health insurance company sponsored " heatlh fairs " and was paid $300/half day, $600/day range. (12 years or more ago) But, I also worked a small local " health fair in the park " about 3 years ago, promoting LEAP/MRT for IBS, migraine, fibro. I paid $50 for my space, as did ALL other vendors. At the end of the day, and for the next 2 weeks, I figured it had been a nice but expensive day in the park - I gave out info, met a few new people, nobody called or wanted my service. WELL, 2 weeks after the health fair, a man called, interested in Mediator Release Testing for his migraines. He had received my info from a friend that knew about his severe, 6-7 days a week, 16 hours/day migraines. Long story short. He became a client. His migraines improved significantly. 6 months post MRT testing he told me that he was about to put a bullet to his head just before he heard about MRT. (He was a former Aspen cop on disability due to his migraines.) But, at 6 months, he said, " I've got my life back. " Last time I talked to him, he's running half marathons and gets migraines only 1/100th of the prior incidence, handles them with OTC meds instead of heavy narcotics and said " I've been able to do many things I didn't even dream of 4 years ago.
