Guest guest
Penny I feel sad for you!! I know that our pets are very much like our children. In fact, my son would say " you treat them better than me "   LOL That was only because I could groundto dogs or cats. I wouldn't know what to do if my dog or cat were taken now, while I'm waiting for the liver cancer to finish it's job. I could handle my old cat leaving this past spring; because it was his time. Thankfully, my mini standard poodle has a daughter and grandson really close by and they love me. So, I would just bring one of them home for a while. Even now, my little Jazz would go back to where I got her and live out her time with the family. I trust that you have had a couple of good crying jags. Gloria ________________________________  Hi everyone. Those of you who are on my Facebook page already know this. Guest guest
Aww so sad, Penny. I can understand how you feel. While was sick, our cat, Taco Bell would knead his abdomen every day right where his liver was. Almost like she knew there was a tumor there. We called it " felo-therapy. "  (you know, like chemotherapy, only a lot more pleasant with no side effects) She still does it, only on the other side. I guess she doesn't want to hurt his new liver. Jackie Ellermann ________________________________ To: livercirrhosissupport Sent: Saturday, November 19, 2011 4:46 PM Subject: I would like to share  Hi everyone. Guest guest
Jackie and Penny I firmly believe that our animals have a sense of when we are hurting. In fact, I wished I had listened to my dog back in my 20's. Maybe then I wouldn't have picked the wrong man so often. ________________________________  Aww so sad, Penny. I can understand how you feel. While was sick, our cat, Taco Bell would knead his abdomen every day right where his liver was. Almost like she knew there was a tumor there. We called it " felo-therapy. Guest guest
I'm so sorry. Our pets are really family members. We've lost dogs before and it is devastating.                                                                             Love,Jill  We don't remember days, we remember moments. Guest guest
Hi Bobby, Thanks again. If I didn't have my other pets, it would be so much harder. We just took in a kitten about a month ago and we have 3 other cats and another Shih Tzu. The kitten has an upper respiratory infection and eye infection that I am treating right now. Fritz, our other Shih Tzu, has been sad too. was his buddy. is coming home today. The vet called and said her ashes and the cute little ern we picked out is ready to be picked up. I'm thinking about getting a necklace with a little locket type thing so I can carry part of her ashes next to my heart at all times. We will probably get another dog after the holidays for Fritz. He seems so lonely and confused. He started chasing his tail a couple of days after passed, and he's never done that before. It is so hard to lose a pet, and many people don't get another pet after they pass away, but I think about all the animals who need a home and I'd rather adopt them and give them a good life than to worry about the pain of losing them.
