When we are detoxing, particularly killing " bad bugs, " the ammonia levels of our urine is very high, even burning me. We take l-ornithine to bring the levels down, it's an amino acid that mops up ammonia. I buy mine from Pure Encapsulations. It also helps a lot with sleep!
