Since we are all so weird with our reactions, don't know which would be better for you. I'd try the 1/2 flexeril tonight to see what it does -- at least you will know. Really did a number on me and my muscles. So they tried Noreflex. It worked great. Start low and work your way up on the dose. Norene flexeril i have been taking flexeril all week and i swear the side effects of this is awful. it puts me out so hard that i wake up in more pain that i did when i took the melatonin. also i sleep for 12hrs at a stretch. now that's no big deal to me b/c i can do that, not working and all. Guest guest Posted May 11, 2004 Report Share Posted May 11, 2004 Since there are also muscles in your eyes, any muscle relaxant will relax those muscles also. I get blurry from ANY muscle relaxant. I think it is important to realize that no matter what we take there are always going to be SIDE EFFECTS. We hope they are good ones, but often there are bad ones as well. I always read up on the drugs I am about to take and often then won't take them. I manage to remain on few drugs and balk at taking more. Guest guest Posted May 14, 2004 Report Share Posted May 14, 2004 I have gotten strange side effects too. I was knocked out for the first three days and then after that, my body adjusted to it. I do notice when I take it I get very itchy and then my eyes get all red. I told the dr about this and he never heard of that reaction before.
