... it's Friday ... and it has been a long time since I've posted a Friday

Funny (left over from 5-7 yrs ago when we had only a few dozen of us on the list

....yes, I'm an oldie here though I'm mostly quiet now, until this week).

Considering all that you expound upon below, I have just one thing to say --

" Guess what. I got a fever. And the only prescription is more cow bell! "

this is grace again.

i was going to tally how many doctors were writing comments on this CNN thread

and see how many public comments were for us and how many were against us. but

then as i was halfway down the comment list i saw as of this writing 1:03 am,

there were 4,871 likes on this CNN page.

and the more i thought and the more the clock ticked way into the night... my

face started to get red and my neck started to spasm... good intentions and

great doctors aside... i felt like i needed to send my ER bill to pamela and tim

should i get a heart or a neuroendocrine attack tonight.

i dont know how we can save ourselves from this one. in time for independence

day, im red black and blue.

but still... please please try to pull me out from under the bus.

Guess what? Here at our minor league AHL affiliate Syracuse Crunch games, they actually show a clip of Walken and start getting the crowd fired up with it....

It has taken me a good number of minutes, but I actually have read through all

your posts related to this issue ... when I saw the rock-n-roll reference, I

simply knew Blue Oyster Cult adoration was flowing through your veins ... and,

who doesn't love cowbells?!

But, more importantly, I thought the conversation needed some levity as it was

getting too heavy and losing purpose. Overall, we are all in this together, and

there will likely need to be a variety of " fronts " in the war to move health

care forward and strengthen (repair?) the doctor-patient relationship.
