Guest guest
Wow quite alot of fever responders.... Did anyone notice if the reason for the fever..virus or bacterial infection, made a difference in levels of gains? This last one for us was roseola which is HHV6 something. Maybe i should give lysine a try. I dont think our OLE is good quality. Anyone using a good one can recommend? Our Dan dr is not into prescribing anti-virals..working on it. > > > > I have seen and talked about this for years. Guest guest
I have heard this before, however, it wasn't the case for my son. One of the things you have to take into consideration as well is that they are usually fasting (not eating) when they are sick. Generally, my son was better when he wasn't eating, but now it is better because we know what 99% of his allergens are and avoid them. > > I am wondering how many people have asd kiddos who improve substantially > when they have a fever? > > > >
Guest guest
Do you think chelation probably had lots to do with that. Metals can hold on to viruses right? > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: l.largey > > ===>Raising my hand, ours was like this for a long time....it gradually faded, no longer true. > > > > > I am wondering how many people have asd kiddos who improve substantially > when they have a fever? > > >
Guest guest
Hi , Our gains during fever were always due to cold or flu virus, but not bacterial infection... The fever has never reached the point where I had to medicate, so these were natural responses and not related to Motrin, or any other meds. I am definitely going to push for anti-virals myself... > > Wow quite alot of fever responders.... Guest guest
It is interesting to find out that there are lot of kids who respond to fever. My son is one too. If I hear his voice in the middle of the night, it usually is fever- he won't cry or look for me, just be awake and talking to himself in a clear voice - but the words or sounds he makes don't make sense. I give him Motrin and his eye contact would be better and he is generally alert. Most of the time he has fever without any precursors - no runny nose, no cough etc. Sometimes he just has fever and sometimes, cold and cough follow later. His fever usually is high - touches 103 and comes back on Motrin. I always worry about this sudden onset of fever and the ped. checks him and says it is viral. Have you had similar experience? - Angay > > > Subject: improvement with fever > To: mb12 valtrex > Date: Friday, March 27, 2009, 5:33 AM > > > > > > > > > > > > > I am wondering how many people have asd kiddos who improve substantially > > when they have a fever? > > > > >
