Guest guest
Lynne, that was wonderful advice you just gave. I agree. These kids are all unique in their damage and should be treated individually. And the doctors stress that at the DAN conferences. When you go to a 'DAN' doctor and you are not satisfied, don't judge 'DAN' by one doctor. Find another, and if not then, then another. Yes, it is frustrating, but if you ask, I'll bet most parents on this list can say they have been through no less than three doctors on this journey, and usually triple that number before finding the right doctor for their child. I hope this will change, as more and more doctors get educated about the true aspects of healing autistic children, that is still a long way off. For us, we went through four docs that were suposed to be 'great', using biomedical interventions. That does not count the initial list of mainstream docs we went through before learning what actually caused autism and heading down the biomedical road. If you are not satisfied with your child's doctor, don't waste any more precious time with him. Find another. There are good ones out there and you can't stop looking until you find one that you are confident in. -- In csb-autism-rx , Lynne Arnold wrote: > > > I have went to a DAN physician since September of 2005 for my son. > > Here's the problem with DAN!: the designation can mean everything or nothing > or anything in between.
