I have been playing the past week with a lip gloss formula using fractionated coconut oil, beeswax, glycerin, PS80 and phenonip ---but am not finding the consistency I'm looking for. I was wondering if it is OK to use silica gel in the formulation in place of the beeswax? I did a google to see if other products contained silica and they do, but that doesn't always mean its the right thing. Any thoughts? N.
