Guest guest
Hi , I have been a member of this site for a few months now and you are the ONLY person who has said they were pregnant while having fibroids. Although I do not have an answer to your question and I do hope you do get answers, I am glad to now you were able to have a child even with the fibroids. This gives me hope. I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids about a year ago, all of them are small. If you dont mind me asking, how old are you? Is this your first child? Good luck and best wishes pedunculation & pregnancy > Hi, > > During a routine gyne visit, I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids. > i had no idea that they were there, as they had not given me any > problems....until I became pregnant. Guest guest
Dear , Pedunculated fibroids do not need to be removed unless they cause very bothersome problems. ( I am a gynecologist) Most IR doctors feel that pedunculated fibroids can cause problems following embolization (they can detach) and, therefore, this is not the best treatment. Laparoscopic myomectomy usually works well, with an outpatient procedure and short recovery. You might ask your doctor about it. Sincerely, pedunculation & pregnancy > > > > Hi, > > > > During a routine gyne visit, I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids. > > i had no idea that they were there, as they had not given me any > > problems....until I became pregnant. Guest guest
No, it should not make any difference if you have the laparoscopy while you are on your period. Hope all goes well. pedunculation & pregnancy > >> > >> > >> > Hi, > >> > > >> > During a routine gyne visit, I was diagnosed with multiple fibroids. > >> > i had no idea that they were there, as they had not given me any > >> > problems....until I became pregnant.
