I have Asics too! My last pair was Saucony but I couldn't find another pair

that felt as good.

We did the same thing when we bought shoes last time. Hugh was

having knee problems and his physical therapist explained what he was

doing that might be contributing to the problem. He went to a store

where the owners are runners and they knew exactly what he needed.'

The right fit is very important. There are specfic shoes that can

help correct gait problems, over-pronating, etc.

I tried running this morning in the parking lot of my apt. complex and

didn't feel the pains in my knees that I normally do:) I may be able

to run again:) yay!!

Yep, yep, yep. Can't underestimate the importance of the right

shoes, particularly for running. Every time I hear of people having

problems running, I always tell them it's probably not form, but

rather their shoes. True for lots of folks.
