I didn't figure on Sunday that digging a hole for a Rose bush, or

mixing the soil amendments would be so painful later. I sure have no

muscle strength. I could not pick up a 40 pound bag of potting soil.

I decided to try mixing the soil in a large plant container. That

worked ok. I got the Rose planted. Then planted some radish seeds in

my new raised bed. Then watered all the plants. Monday, I could feel

my 'gardening folly.' These things must be done, though. I used my

Thera-cane on my triggers, which were on the warpath, and took Arnica

Montana 30C.

I cannot figure out what is " doing too much. " A few weeks ago, I was

amazed that my triggers were not active following cutting grass with

my mothers electric lawnmower, but my degenerative hip joint bothered

me so much that I had to take something for that pain. That's not to

say that the next time I cut grass, I won't have active upper body

triggers. I did take Arnica Montana 30C, like I did Monday.

I was really stupid to think, I can cut more grass, like I did when I

was a 'nermal.' My NPN says my muscles are atrophying, and the only

way to stop that is to use them more. How do you do that, if using

them hurts so much? Even the tinnest, or least amount of exercise

puts me in bed. How?

Isn't it awful?????

One day you can do things and not hurt and the next, if you do

anything, even fold laundry, you hurt so much you can't stand it.

Since " doing too much " varies from day to day, it's kind of hard to

figure out what we CAN do!!!

i find housework still to be my easiest thing to do. its working out

of the house that gets me. at home i have my big 245lb, 25yr old son

to help me out. he carrying laundry baskets, runs errands, lifts

furniture and heavy boxes. but working outside the home w/ppl that

are always spreading germs my way possitively kills me.
