I have received this Sorbitan Stearate emulsifier that has a very

strong smell. Is this normal? Should I return it to the supplier?

Thanks in advance.

I just checked the Sorbitan Stearate that I have here in the lab and it has a

very mild odor that should dissappear when used.

Hi Pam,

I sell Sorbitan Stearate and it does have a mild odor. Check this MSDS for

more information about Sorbitan Stearate.
