Hi You've been gone for so many months, I figured you'd quit the group. <g> If I remember correctly, you're 32 or 33??? That's older than I was when I had pretty much identical surgery as you just did. It turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to me. It got rid of the cancer and the endometriosis. Best of all, over the past 20 some years, it has saved me a fortune. Guest guest Posted August 15, 2006 Report Share Posted August 15, 2006 I have to agree! 1st, welcome back !!!!! I had a hysterectomy when I was 25 y/o, 23 years ago. They left 1 ovary in for hormonal puposes. I had endo also, had already had 2 children, didn't want more. My husband said I was such a bitch for 2 weeks each month before the surgery, after surgery I was good as new! I always hated the whole female monthly thing anyway and was so glad to be rid of it.
